SIPR Fall 2022 Magazine
Stanford International Policy Review Editors: Taimur Ahmad, Olivia Hampsher-Monk, Joyce Lin
Welcome to the Fall 2022 edition of the Stanford International Policy Review (SIPR) magazine! Following the publication of the first SIPR magazine in Spring 2022, we are proud to publish our second magazine featuring authors from disciplines across Stanford University, covering topics ranging from the upcoming Zimbabwe election in 2023 to the clean up of military water contamination sites in the United States.
Our goal with SIPR is to create a platform that promotes multi-disciplinary thinking to analyze current issues while also helping readers connect the dots between seemingly disparate topics at a systems level. This is increasingly important as the “polycrisis” manifests both in the real world but also as an analytical framework for policymaking.
Also, we hope to invite an exciting array of speakers in the following quarters (so look out for that!) and encourage Stanford students to suggest potential guests that can help expand the range of existing discourse on campus.
